JUNIOR LEADERSHIP ACADEMY (JLA)

£199.00

At Robson’s Family Karate, we are proud to offer the first stages of instructor training through the national Junior Leadership Academy programme. We provide a structured training programme for 10 - to 17-year-olds that enhances our team’s professional development through formal training and leadership development. Upon completing the programme, JLA trainees will graduate to become part of our Junior Leadership team, with the potential to progress onto further instructor training if suitable.

JLA is a 6-month programme during which you will work alongside our instructors, attend monthly training sessions, and complete a workbook.  During the first six months, you will develop your leadership skills, confidence, communication, and more.  At the end of 6 months, providing you have reached the required standard, you will graduate to become a full member of our JLA, and we will provide you with a JLA uniform to wear.

Our junior support team is a highly valued and essential part of our structure. JLA members will support our instructors in classes and at gradings and become role models for other students.  We expect our JLA trainees and graduates to demonstrate a continued commitment to our club, have high standards of attitude and character, and wear their uniforms with pride.

You have been selected as a prospective candidate for the next JLA training programme, as you have the potential to develop and thrive as part of our team! We want to invite you to apply for the next intake of trainees.

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to learn new skills and add to your CV, and it might even be the start of your journey towards becoming an instructor one day! We will only be recruiting JLA team members as and when we can offer the required support and training. If you are interested, submit your application to your instructor asap, or you may miss out on this fantastic opportunity.

Once we receive your application, you will be invited to our next JLA Assessment Session. During this session, you will complete a series of mini-activities to assess your willingness to learn, your skill level, and any specific support you may need. Please don't worry; this session is not to tet you but rather is designed to help you fully understand the programme and make sure that it is right for you. Successful applicants will already have committed to the club and their training. They must show the potential to develop into influential leaders who will positively represent the club and its values.

I sincerely hope you will consider this opportunity and look forward to having you as part of our team.

If you are interested in becoming involved, please ask Robson’s Family Karate reception for an application form or phone us on 07825748658 or email info@rfkarate.com.

Yours sincerely,

Jamie Robson
