Embarked on training at the age of 11 in 2011 with my little brother, after finding it scary and having anxiety when first beginning to later finding passion and confidence in wanting to become a member of Robson's family karate of Soo Bank Do Moo Duke Kwan, under the mentoring of Master Robson. Allowing the opportunity to grade into the following ranks within Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan. 1st Dan known as Cho Dan, on 28th November 2015, in the Newry sports centre. 2nd dan known as Ee Dan, 30th June 2018, in the new facility in Newry of Robson's family karate.
Currently still patiently waiting to be able to properly train with my Master Robson again soon to be able to prepare me for the 3rd Dan grading from 2011 - to the present. At the moment I've currently decided to take part in a programme within Robson's family karate called the instructors training academy, short for or known as ITA, to be given the chance to take the next step in my personal development, to embark on a journey of becoming an instructor at the best I can be, to show enthusiasm and loyalty to learn and to train for the next 12 months. Before I was given this chance after achieving my 2nd Dan, I was allowed to have an insight into part-time instructing back in 2019 and having a better understanding of what's like, after leading a couple of Master Robson's classes in Kilkeel and Warrenpoint once a week, while he was building his full-time school in Newry to help it grow from when it first began, to later on further increase my chance of instructing recently in 2020 helping out with the full-time school and instructing more classes of 5 days a week.
